Internationally reknown juju musician signs multi million Naira deal with MTN NigeriaSir Shina Peters, legendary juju musician has joined the major leagues as he recently got appointed as a brand ambassador for telecomms giant MTN Nigeria that will bring him millions.
The excited musician confirmed that he is indeed a new ambassador for MTN. His face has been printed on promotional materials; flyers and billboards in Ibadan. One of Peters songs; 777, a winning streak number from his album, Ace released in 1989 have also been seen and heard on TV channels and radio stations.
The 56 year old said “Yes, my brother, I have joined the big family in MTN, Nigeria’s biggest telecommunications network. It’s a great moment for me, my career and my fans. I appreciate the decision of MTN to get me on board and I have promised to add value to the brand, join hands with other young talents already on board and see how we can continue to grow the family and its teeming subscribers"
The new ambassador performed at the MTN Project Fame season 7 finale in Lagos yesterday.Other MTN ambassadorsinclude Don Jazzy, Dr Sid, Davido, Praiz, Tiwa Savage, Kcee, Chidinma, Banky W, Wizkid, Timaya and others.
SSP as he popularly refers to himself was born Oluwashina Akanbi Peters. He was once in a romantic relationship with Nollywood actress Clarion Chukwura -Abiola and they had a son who is the ace video producer and cinematographer in Nigeria Clarence Peters.
