L.A Clippers basketball team could be having a new owner once its former owner Donald Sterling gets the boot. Billionaire real estate developer Rick Caruso says he is more than ready to buy over the ownership of the team and that he has a team of investors ready to seal the deal.

According to TMZ Sports, "Caruso who made a run to purchase the L.A. Dodgers back in 2012 says, "If [The Clippers] become available, I would absolutely be interested." Rick notes, "We have a group still together from when we looked at the Dodgers ... and if it makes sense, I'll take a shot at it."

Sadly, former owner Donald has not disclosed if he's out or not and neither has he expressed any plans of selling the club. But according to the Billionaire aspiring buyer, Rick, "It is something Donald has to do for the sake of the player, the fans and the entire league."
